EWP Estimator
Our Client, one of the leading Retailers of building products is on the grow. They have hired SnapDragon Associates to find them a seasoned EWP Estimator.
Position Responsibilities:
~From blueprints prepare bids, layouts and engineered profiles using appropriate software
~Ensure that customers’ requirements are met by working closely with sales force
~Maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees
~Perform other work related duties as assigned
~Work closely with retail clients, builders, framers and developers to answer design questions and offer design solutions
~Grow and maintain strong customer relationships
~Place orders within our productions system
Position Requirements:
~Minimum of two years as a truss (roof and floor) designer
~Demonstrated knowledge of CAD engineering software used in the design of trusses and the creation of layouts for single and multi-family construction
~Demonstrate the ability to read and understand blueprints
~Demonstrate mathematical skills required to calculate concentrated and uniform loads
~Working knowledge of floor and roof systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangers
